Last week saw the 9 automatic places decided in the Ryder cup team. 

Rory Mcilroy, Danny Willett, Henrik Stenson, Chris Wood, Sergio Garcia, Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Justin Rose, Andy Sullivan and Matthew Fitzpatrick. 

So who is Darren Clarke going to pick for the 3 wildcard places, I think he should go for Westwood, Kaymer and Russell Knox. 

The others in the mix would be Graeme McDowell, Luke Donald, Thomas Pieters, Shane Lowry and Andrew Johnston.

Ladies Coaching Evening 

This coming Bank Holiday will see the 3rd of Kevin's Ladies short game clinics. 

So far 20 plus ladies have attended and as you can see from the picture they all seem to be having fun. 

The session starts at 6pm and meets on the putting green.

Junior Clinics 

Junior clinics have again been a success with lots of juniors taking part in the clinics with some familiar faces and new ones; Kevin will be launching his junior academy September 1st and is looking to build a strong junior section here at Purley, so if your child is aged between 10 and 18 the academy would be a good route for them to improve their golf and make friends.

Victory at the Dulwich and Sydenham Pro-Am. 

Kevin won his first PGA event in the Dulwich and Sydenham pro am last week with a score of 67 -2 winning by two shots picking up the winner's cheque of £500 plus another £75 for winning the team score, not a bad days work.

 

Pro-Am - 24th September - 16 teams have now confirmed so we are only looking for another 4 teams.
